GETTING STARTED
How to use RxSathi
Follow the steps in order, or jump to the part you need.
STEP 1 OF 10
Create your account
Sign up free with your email or Google account — on the web or in the iOS/Android app.
- Choose the doctor role when you sign up
- No credit card needed to get started
STEP 2 OF 10
Complete your profile
A short 4-step wizard sets up everything RxSathi needs before you write your first prescription.
Find it in Onboarding, right after sign-up
- Basic profile — name, degree, specialisation and registration number
- Clinic details — add your hospital or clinic address
- Page setup — paper size, header/footer and margins
- Template — pick the design your prescriptions print with
STEP 3 OF 10
Build your saved library
Save the medicines, symptoms and diagnoses you use often — once — and reuse them in one tap on every prescription afterwards.
Find it in Settings → My Library
- Saved medicines — dose, frequency, quantity and meal timing
- Saved symptoms, diagnoses and investigations
- Saved instructions/advice and dose frequencies
- Set your own display order for each category
STEP 4 OF 10
Fine-tune your prescription setup
Control exactly how a printed prescription looks — you can change any of this later.
Find it in Settings → Prescription setup
- Prescription template — the visual design and branding
- Page & paper setup — A4, A5, A6, Letter, B4 or B5, with custom margins
- Language, font & signature — print in English, Hindi or Gujarati, with your signature
STEP 5 OF 10
Manage your patient queue
Your front-desk or receptionist staff check in walk-in patients with their vitals — you see who's waiting the moment you open your dashboard.
Find it in Dashboard → Patient Queue
- Patients are queued with a token number, automatically
- Start a prescription for the patient at the top of the queue in one tap
STEP 6 OF 10
Write a prescription
A guided workflow helps you enter the details of a visit and prepare a digital prescription.
Find it in New Prescription
- Vitals → symptoms → diagnosis → medicines → instructions
- Pull entries from your saved library, or type freely for anything new
STEP 7 OF 10
Preview, print or share
Review the prescription and check your paper size and printer settings before printing or sharing.
- Live, print-accurate preview as you fill in the prescription
- Print directly, or share it as a PDF over WhatsApp
STEP 8 OF 10
Track follow-ups and history
Review past prescriptions and see which patients are due to visit again.
Find it in Dashboard → Follow-ups / History
- Follow-ups — patients due to revisit you today
- Prescription History — search and reprint any prescription you've written
Prescription history and follow-ups depend on your plan. Check your subscription settings for availability.
STEP 9 OF 10
Invite your front-desk staff
Add a receptionist so they can queue up patients for you.
Find it in Dashboard → Hospitals → Members
- Invite by name and email — they get their own login
- Receptionists can capture vitals and manage the queue, without access to your prescription-writing tools or saved library
STEP 10 OF 10
Manage hospitals & your plan
Running more than one clinic, or ready for more? It's all in one place.
Find it in Dashboard → Settings
- Add and switch between multiple hospitals/clinics
- Upgrade your plan for cloud backup, prescription history, follow-ups and more
