This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to paid subscriptions
(Advanced and Elite plans) purchased through the RxSathi
mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), provided
by Encodework Systems LLP.
Subscription purchases are billed and processed by the platform you
subscribed through. Purchases made in the mobile app are processed
exclusively through Google Play Billing; purchases
made on the website are processed by our website payment provider.
Encodework Systems LLP does not directly collect or store your
payment details, and does not independently issue refunds outside of
these platforms' own systems.
1. Subscription Billing
- Advanced and Elite plans are auto-renewing subscriptions billed at the interval shown at checkout (e.g., annually).
- Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- App purchases — prices, applicable taxes, and payment methods are determined and displayed by Google Play at the time of purchase, and billed to your Google Play account.
- Website purchases — prices, applicable taxes, and payment methods are determined and displayed by our website payment provider at the time of purchase.
2. Refunds
Refund requests are handled according to the refund policy of the
platform you purchased through, not by Encodework Systems LLP directly.
- App purchases (Google Play) — Google generally allows refund requests within a limited window after purchase (currently up to 48 hours for many purchases, though this is set solely by Google and may change). To request a refund, go to Google Play Store → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history, find your RxSathi purchase, and follow Google's refund request process.
- Website purchases — refund requests are handled according to the terms shown at the time of purchase on the website. Contact us at the email below to request a refund review.
- In both cases, we do not provide refunds for the unused portion of a subscription period once a billing cycle has started, except where required by platform policy or applicable law.
3. Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future
renewals. Cancelling does not automatically refund the current billing
period — you will continue to have access to paid features until
the end of the period you already paid for.
If you subscribed through the App:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your device.
- Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select RxSathi.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
If you subscribed through the Website: cancel from
your account's subscription settings on the website, or contact us at
the email below and we will process the cancellation for you.
You can also restore a previously purchased subscription in the App
via the Restore Purchases option on the Subscription
screen.
4. Downgrades to the Free Plan
If your subscription is cancelled, expires, or is not renewed, your
account will automatically move to the Free plan at the end of the
current billing period. Prescription and patient data you have already
created remains accessible, but features exclusive to the Advanced or
Elite plans will no longer be available.
5. Billing Issues
If you believe you were charged in error, were double-billed, or
experienced a technical issue affecting your subscription (e.g., paid
but did not receive access to paid features), contact us and we will
help investigate alongside Google Play or our website payment provider,
as applicable.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to
time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective
Date" above.
